Taylor has been nominated for four 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards including Female Vocalist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year (as both artist and producer) for Speak Now!
The awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.

Taylor Named most played & Top-selling artist of 2010
For the second time in three years, Taylor Swift has been named Billboard & Neilsen SoundScan’s top-selling artist of the year, with over 4.4 million albums sold in 2010, according to sales figures released this week. Taylor was also SoundScan’s top-selling artist in 2008, and her Fearless album was 2009’s biggest-selling CD.
For the second consecutive year, Taylor is Billboard’s most-played artist, topping their annual all-genre Artist Airplay chart with more than 1.128 million airplay detections in 2010.
In addition, with over 34 million tracks sold to date, Taylor remains the top selling digital artist in music history, again holding the #1 position atop Billboard’s chart of Top Selling Digital Artists.

Taylor was complete flawless at the People choice awards! in a J.mendel dress with a see through back! She won Favorite country artist! Her second award ever and first in this category. Taylor is the new spoks person for covergirl cosmetics. She advertises their new line nutureluxe natural makeup. The line includes gloss balm, and a nice silk fondation. I have tested both and they are both very nice. The lipstick is very smooth and nice, nd the fondation is very light on your skin and feels like you are putting on lotion. It smells like cucumbers!!! Really nice product and the best person to advertise it! Love, Love, Love!!

Taylor Turns 21
Taylor Swift turns 21 on Monday (December 13), and she is getting some birthday wishes from many of her celebrity pals, who took to Twitter to show some love to the superstar and send her attention in honor of the milestone.
"Hey!! Today is my girlfrannn @taylorswift13's 21st birthday!!!" Paramore leading lady Hayley Williams tweeted . "Holy heck. She's all growed up. So blessed to know her. Tweet her some love!"
Selena Gomez got in on the action too, writing to her pal, "Happy birthday @taylorswift13!!! I love you so much!!"
Katy Perry also tweeted, "@taylorswift13 happy 21st gorgeous!"
Perez Hilton had a shout out for Ms. Swift, adding a Latino flair to his wishes: "@taylorswift13 ¡Feliz cumpleaños! #HappyBirthdayTaylor."
Swift got her birthday party started early Sunday, when she tweeted about some festivities that were already under way, sharing that her friends were ringing in another year with the singer.
"Snowflakes are flurrying down outside and it's my last day of being 20!" She wrote. "Tonight @caitlinbird and @elizabethhuett knocked on my door — they brought a pizza with a lit 21 candle on it and bday hats. Now I'm dancing around my room alone to pink's greatest hits cd."
With her birthday so close to Christmas, the singer revealed to MTV newsthat she was planning to combine the two celebrations for her birthday party this year.
"The plans for the 21st birthday are probably going to be winter-themed. I love winter. I love Christmas," she said. "When I was a little kid and I was growing up, they'd always have a Santa Claus guy show up and take everybody's wishes or what they wanted for Christmas. I'm not gonna do that, but there'll definitely be lots of Christmas-themed things."

Peter Max Paints Taylor!
World-renowned pop artist Peter Max has painted a new portrait of Taylor Swift to commemorate her newest album, Speak Now, which was certified Triple-Platinum by the RIAA this week. And next week, Max’s iconic portraiture of 4-time Grammy winner Swift will be available to the public for the first time.
The Speak Now portrait is Max’s second time to immortalize Taylor’s album art -- he unveiled a series of four portraits of her Fearless album earlier this year in a series of gallery showings. Max has gifted his first Fearless original work to Taylor, but now the Max portraits, from both Fearless and Speak Now, are available as poster artwork and as commissioned originals. Starting Sunday (December 12th) Max’s Taylor Swift works will be sold exclusively in the TaylorSwift.com Online Store.
The Max / Swift relationship began when Max painted a portrait of Taylor’s Fearless album cover upon learning that Taylor was launching her 2010 Fearless tour in Tampa the same week that he had a gallery showing there. “I've been doing portraits of iconic musicians for so many years, and it is a pleasure to add Taylor Swift to the collection,” says Max. “She is one of the most beautiful and talented stars we have today.”
Taylor was thrilled when she learned of Max’s interest in doing the portrait, as she is a lifelong fan of his, having often seen his work on display in the Ocean Gallery in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. Swift remembered walking past the gallery window many times as a child and young teen, and was often stopped in her tracks by the vibrancy of Max’s works.
Max’s Fearless portraits have been featured in several gallery exhibitions, but were not available for sale. His Speak Now portrait has not been shown prior to today.
With paintings on exhibition in hundreds of museums and galleries worldwide, Peter Max and his vibrant colors have become part of the fabric of contemporary culture. Max has been successively called a Pop Icon, Neo Fauvist, Abstract Expressionist and the United States’ "Painter Laureate."
Max has a long-standing career as the preeminent Pop artist in America, and is the country’s most well known and most collected artist. He has achieved his place in history having painted for various Heads of State. Often incorporating iconic symbols of America into his work, Max has painted for six U.S. presidents, created the official artwork and poster for the Clinton Inauguration, his "Flag With Heart" impressionistic paintings of the American flag are in permanent installations in the Carter, Reagan and Bush presidential libraries in addition to his statue of Liberty paintings, which have become an annual painting tradition since America's Bicentennial, in 1976 and led to Max playing a lead role in the renovation of the Statue of Liberty. Taylor Swift annonces tour dates!
Taylor Swift has announced a 2011 world tour in support of her extremely successful New CD Speak Now, which sold a million copies during its first week.
T-Sweezy will play 87 shows in 19 countries spanning four continents on the Taylor Swift Speak Now World Tour 2011.
The world tour kicks off on February 9th in Singapore. The North American leg of the tour kicks off May 27th in Omaha, Nebraska and will be making two stops in NYC on July 19th and 20th. Also she will appear at gillete Satdium June 25th.
Swift recently spoke to MTV News about how she loves to experience other cultures while on the road.
“Whenever I’m somewhere where there’s just this beautiful culture and food that everyone talks about I try to experience as much of it as possible, like we go to Teppanyaki restaurants where they make all this food in front of you on the grill, and… I’m not much of a sushi person, I wish I was though.”

With 1,046,718 copies sold in the US in the first week of release, Taylor Swift’s Speak Now album has scored SoundScan’s biggest single-week sales total since 2005 and is the biggest debuting country studio album in history.
Speak Now accounted for 18% of total albums sold this week, setting a new record for percentage of total sales in a single week. One out of every five CDs or download sales this week was Taylor’s Speak Now album, which was released on Big Machine Records.
Speak Now is just the 16th album in the SoundScan era to sell over a million copies in one week, and Taylor joins Whitney Houston, Norah Jones and Britney Spears as the only female artists in history to sell more than a million albums in a debut week. With 278,000 digital albums sold, Taylor broke her own record for most country digital albums sold in one week (set by 2008’s Fearless album), and Speak Now marked the largest debut album release total (all genres) at Target in the history of the retail chain. Taylor, who earlier this year won four Grammys –including Album of the Year-- for Fearless, wrote the Speak Now album entirely by herself, and co-produced the project with Nathan Chapman.
Speak Now reached the iTunes #1 album position (all genres) within an hour of its release on October 25th, and the album’s lead single, “Mine,” is now Taylor’s sixth #1 hit, jumping from #5 to #1 at Country radio this week. “Mine” has reached #11 at Top 40 radio and is Top 5 at A/C and Top 10 at Hot A/C. Enjoying quite the relaxing holiday weekend, Taylor Swift kept fans up to date as she documented her Fourth of July doings via her Twitter account.
Fitting in a little country fun, the "Love Story" singer ventured out on Saturday (July 3) to load up on healthy foods, as she wrote, "Local produce tent = yay!"
Getting decked out in patriotic garb, Taylor joined up with a few close friends the following day, tweeting, "Sitting on a porch with @ClaireCallaway2 @elizabethhuett @GrantMickelson eating BBQ, discussing American history."
Meanwhile, Miss Swift was also among the many hitting up local theaters to check out the new Twilight movie "Eclipse," as she excitedly wrote, "Just saw Eclipse. Wow. Unbelievably great. :)"
Wow she really is a great person who enjoys time with her friends and family!

Taylor Swift looked amazing at the 2010 CMT awards with her gourgeos curly hair all strait! She also tried an older fun looking dress! The burgandy color looks great against her fair skin! She looked amazing and completely flawless or should I say "Fearless" ! I think she pulled the look off greatly! I hope everyone loved the new look. Her hair looks wonderful strait but I do love her lovley curly blonde hair.
Taylor Spends almost 15 hours with fans
Last Sunday at the Bridgstone Arena in Nashville Tennessee, Taylor Swift held a 13 Hour meet and greet for 2,000 fans! At least that was the plan. Seems the country superstar actually kept going for a total of 14 and a half hours! Wow!The number of hours originally stemmed from her lucky number - 13, but she kept on going! The event was held to coincide with the Cma music Festival . Swift let fans see what it was like to tour with the young country sensation with a peek at her bus, wardrobe and set pieces!Sounds amazing for her fans! Taylor tweeted this and posted the twitpic you see "These sweet people brought me these braclets and wrote on my arm as the hours passed" . During the event Taylor said “It’ll be interesting to see how many numbers I have at the end of the night… It’s so much fun because they’re all so nice and they say really sweet things. I’m so proud of my team for putting together an event that was exactly what I had in mind” Now theres is a superstar who really cares and loves her fans!
Taylor to spend 13 hours with fans face to face!
Not one to limit showing her gratitude to fans in a brief acceptance speech, Taylor Swift is going to devote an entire day to thanking her admirers. Her day will begin at 8 a.m. at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, followed by a short acoustic performance around 2 that afternoon. The event, which is free and open to the public, will wrap up at 9 p.m.

Benefit Concert for Nashville
After seeing the damage the flood in Nashville has caused, celebs wanted more than anything to come together and help in any way that they can. Other than donating $500,000 to various organizations in an effort to help the people of Nashville, Taylor Swift is joining Miley Cryus and other stars like Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill in taking part in a benefit concert called "Nashville Rising!"
